F.A.Q

The shared tours have a fixed price regardless of the amount of people attending. However, private tour prices are higher because this is a more intimate experience with just a few people in the group. The more people you have, the lower the price will get.
No, instead you have a driver that speaks English and he can explain some of the stuff that appears during the tour.
That would be around 560 km in total. Between Marrakech and the Zagora desert there are 350 km.
You can do that if you want, but the shared tours will fill up around 3 days in advance. You can find our office in city center.
You can bring luggage to the group or private desert tours. It’s a good idea to have that luggage in the form of a backpack, as you can travel with it around, you can even take it on the camel as you reach the desert camp. Your remaining luggage will be in your Zagora vehicle or in Merzouga at the operator lodge.
That’s up to you. Ideally you can do that onsite on the tour day with USD, EUR, MAD or GBP. If you choose online payments, these will have additional fees. For private tours you can use the same systems, nothing will change.
Yes, you can do that, but you will have to work closely with our team to do that.
The great thing here is that there’s no minimal number of people needed for the tour. They will be guaranteed each day no matter the situation.
You can feel free to do that as early as possible, especially for peak seasons like October, April and December. Check often and you can get some really impressive results.
Due to environmental concerns and to improve safety and consistent quality of desert camp
experiences, in early 2019 the Moroccan government restricted overnight camping inside the
Erg Chebbi dunes.
It’s possible to do that, but the 4x4 transfer fees will apply aside from the luxury desert camp where you can choose between the two options.
These will usually take around 1 hour for the sunset camel to go from Merzouga and up to Erg Chebbi and another hour for the sunrise camel. Of course timing will depend on the season and weather conditions.
That’s not possible to do. You need to decide when you are booking or around 24 hours before the departure. These are all in different areas, so you can’t switch on the spot.
Yes it will be private, the room has AC and you will also have ensuite bathroom as well.

While there are some available, you can feel free to bring your own if that’s what you want.
No plugging is allowed inside the tents. You will however have outlets in the public areas at the camps like the restaurant. And you can also find plugs at hotels or cafes too.
Yes, the only issue will be with gluten free foods, as there aren’t a lot of them in Morocco, so you may have to bring in your own which is quite the challenge. Most of the meals will be halal meals only, but you can choose other options.
Erg Chigaga is located remotely and it can be accessed only via 4x4 driving.
Merzouga camp operators have sandboards and they are available at the operator lodge. You can start enjoying some sandboarding fun with this, all you have to do is to check it out as it’s very enjoyable.
You can in Merzouga, you will need to pay 50 Euros per bike, per hour. Same with Erg Chigaga, and you can pay the supplier.
The camps have shower condiments and towels. But if you want to bring your own, you are allowed to do that and nothing will stop you. The luxury camp has all these things anyway as well.
There are actually lots of cafes as you go towards the desert. You can choose any of your own you found during research. Or you can talk with the driver and he can recommend some if you want. Either way you can obtain great results.
Shared desert tours are coming with competitive prices. Of course, that does mean you have to limit expectations, ignore some of the minor details and just share the experience with others. There are lots of private tours if you’re not willing to travel with others. It all comes down to the budget you have, and you can go from there.
You will have a new driver that will handle all of this. There’s no need to worry about anything, he will handle the entire process.
No, you can’t do that. The private tours are exclusive to a single group. But instead you can choose the shared desert tours if you want.
For the private tours yes, as long as the plane takes off at 19.00 at the latest. However, if we are talking about doing this during the winter or rainy season, there might be delays. For shared tours this is not a good option unless the flight is at least at midnight.
